A two-day practical course focused on effective anamnesis, diagnosis, clinical decision making, basic sampling, processing and interpretation of the most common dermatologic diseases.

We will cover differentiation of clinical lesions and their potential causes, how to take which samples, how to perform and interpret tests, practical work-up of patients with pruritus and allergy. In addition, there will be interactive work-up of cases from the practice and a cytology quiz to help gain experience immediately.

Nina completed her degree in veterinary medicine at the Ludwig Maximilian University Munich in 2006. As a research assistant at the Medical Small Animal Clinic of the LMU Munich she wrote her doctoral thesis about nutrition in atopic dogs. She completed her special dermatological training (ECVD residency) at the Germering Small Animal Clinic and successfully graduated in 2013 with the title ‘Diplomate ECVD’. She also passed the examination to become a ‘Specialist Veterinarian for Small Animal Dermatology’. Since then, Nina has been working as an independent dermatologist in numerous referral clinics in Bavaria. Nina has many years of experience in continuing education in the field of dermatology and participates in national and international courses, presentations and webinars. Since 2024 she is the President of the College for Dermatology (ECVD).
