A two-day course focused on the theory, diagnosis, and clinical decision-making in patients with anemia. The emphasis will be on correctly identifying the underlying causes of the condition, which are crucial for determining the appropriate therapy. In the second half of the course, we will explore the approach to patients with bleeding and the practical use of transfusion medicine.

Rozália Majerčíková MVDr, Dipl. ECVIM European Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine

Rozália completed her studies at the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Brno in 2016. She began gaining experience at a private clinic in Bratislava, where she focused primarily on dermatology. A year later, she completed a rotational internship at Vetmeduni Vienna, where she discovered her passion for internal medicine and decided to stay on the emergency internal medicine team. She later completed a residency and in 2024, she earned the title of European Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine. Currently, she works at a private clinic in Switzerland. Rozália is particularly interested in endoscopy, as well as hematological, autoimmune, and respiratory diseases. In addition to traditional internal medicine, she has also developed an interest in neurology. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, gardening, and dancing swing, and she loves trying new activities.
