This course will focus on managing common behavioral problems in animals, including aggression in dogs, house soiling in cats, separation anxiety, and the use of psychopharmacology. Additionally, strategies for handling these behaviors in general practice settings will be explored. Theory of the course is in English.

Dr. Denenberg earned his veterinary degree with honors from the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Kosice. He moved from Israel to Canada in 2003, where he successfully completed the North American veterinary licensing examination. Throughout his career, Dr. Denenberg has conducted various behavioral studies, including research on the impact of pheromones on puppy learning and socialization, as well as a study on toy preferences in cats. His work earned him the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior's Excellence in Research Award. He has also written numerous articles and contributed to book chapters. Dr. Denenberg serves as a consultant for the Veterinary Information Network (VIN), offering expert advice to fellow veterinarians. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he is actively involved in teaching veterinary students and regularly presents at veterinary conferences across Europe and North America.
